Terms & Conditions.
1. Hotlogic Ltd provides services relating to information technology (I.T.). If an agreement, either verbal or in writing, has been made to employ Hotlogic Ltd to undertake work, then normal hourly fees apply. 'Work' may include that which does affect the state of a system or that, such as research, that does not affect the state of a system.

2. Hardware & Sofware procurement: -

2.1 Hotlogic may advise on the purchase of hardware or/and software. It may choose not to purchase to sell on to the client. It may choose not to act as a reseller. It may offer to carry out the act of purchasing hardware or/and software on behalf of the client without being part of the financial payment, ownership and delivery of goods.

2.2 Goods bought under advice from Hotlogic are the sole responsibility of the owner of those goods. Return of goods are to be made to the point of purchase.

2.3 A written quote may be provided by Hotlogic based on information made readily available by the client. Such a quote relating to Hotlogic's services may remain valid for up to 7 calendar days.

2.4 Quotes relating to hardware & software are subject to change at any time. Such change is a reflection of charges by suppliers who may change their pricing at any time.

3. Nature of the business: -

3.1 Hotlogic endevours to provide information and service in a professional capacity. When action suggested by Hotlogic is undertaken, it is not to be held responsible if that action does not provide the solution. (For example, when installing wireless networks, the environment may prevent successfull installation and/or operation that could not have been foreseen before work is undertaken).

3.2 Due to inherent issues relating to hardware & software, the state of systems cannot be guaranteed.
4. Payment: -

4.1 Payment must be made to Hotlogic Ltd upon reciept of the invoice. If payment is not recieved within 7 calendar days, a finance charge will be applied to the unpaid balance at the rate of two percent (2%) per month which is an annual percentage rate of 24%. This charge will be calculated using a daily interest rate of 0.0657% for each day past the due date. Any action that is needed to recover debt will be taken and all costs including legal fees will be borne by the client.

4.2 Fees are due in accordance with the hourly rate if arrangements have not been made by the client to allow work to go ahead unhindered and if work cannot be carried out due to fault of the client or a third party.

4.3 During working hours Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30hrs base hourly rate applies. Outside these times on Monday to Friday, the rate will be one and a half times the base hourly rate. On Saturday according to the working hours stated above, the hourly rate will be one and a half times the base rate. Outside this time on Saturday the rate will be twice the base hourly rate. Sunday: Between the working hours (above), the rate is double the base rate and outside this time triple the base rate.

4.4 Any issues relating to payment must be taken up in writing with Hotlogic Ltd.

5. Disclaimer: -

5.1 The customer agrees to use all services and any information obtained through or from Hotlogic Ltd at the customer's own risk.

5.2 Hotlogic or it's employees may not be held liable in relation to unexpected system states arising after work has been carried out.

5.3 It is the sole responsibility of the owner of the system to make whatever provision necessary to cover the owner against loss of or damage to a system or part of a system.

5.4 It is recommended that before any work is carried out, that the owner makes a backup of any data that may be missed if the working copy of that data is lost during or after work is carried out.
